Operations: Briefly mined in the 1700's some time after 1738, then again in the 1890's for a short time
Owner: Privately owned in the 1700's by a Mr. Walton, in the 1890's it was owned by two men--Albert Potter and Walter Reade
Output: No exact amount was recorded but it was determined unprofitable and abandoned
Notable Facts: Its four shafts were permanently sealed in 1970. Since then the exact location of them has been lost. Although this mine was determined unprofitable it helped spark a miniature gold rush in and around Rhode Island.
